I have decided to use the pleating technique and I have taken inspiration from an image in my secondary research of a chain.
I cut individual strip of paper and pleated each strip...
I then linked them together and glued them in place. This is a very simplistic idea and it has a repeating pattern.
This model was made by doing 3 different sized pleated models that are the same and then arranged together.
I used the same 3 models and rearranged them to make this model. This is again a repeating pattern and I really like this as I like the effect of the model getting smaller and smaller.
